A classmate of mine who lives in residence came to our door this evening. She asked my roommate, who answered the door, if we could help her. Apparently, her roommate is planning on bringing her boyfriend to their room over the weekend, since it’s their anniversary. My classmate isn’t very comfortable around them, not because she doesn’t like the boyfriend, but because she doesn’t want to be in the next room over while they’re very obviously having sex. Some people would be okay with it, but she’s not. It’s understandable.
She was going around to all the people she knows living in residence and asking if she could simply sleep there for the weekend so she could give them privacy and also, mainly, to just not be there when they “do it” (as she put it). My roommate said that both of us were going home this weekend, which is true, so she couldn’t.
So she suggested we give her the key to our room. “I won’t be in here except to sleep, so you don’t have to worry about anything”.
No, fuck off. You do not ever fucking suggest to stay in a persons home while they’re not there. Not. Fucking. Ever. I do not trust her not to go through my things and use something without my permission. I simply do not trust her.
The nerve.
