Today in class we watched the “making of” The Lord of the Rings.
Well, we watched the first scene of the movie, and then we watched the making of. My teacher wanted us to see how a story like LotR could be successfully translated from book to film, and the insane amounts of detail that they went into to make Middle Earth seem like it’s real (because, as I learned today, it totally isn’t).
Long story short, The Hobbit needs to come out right now, and I need to watch all of The Lord of the Rings, pronto.
